San Diego Restaurant Week

Next week marks one of our favorite weeks of the year! From January 17-24, it is San Diego Restaurant Week! Over 180 local restaurants all over the San Diego area are participating this year. Each restaurant participating is offering amazing Restaurant Week special menus, drinks, and more- most of which are 3 courses! This is an amazing and fun way to try new places, get together with dear friends, explore the city, and give back to the community. Here are a few of the most delicious menu offerings we’ve seen. For a full list of restaurant’s participating, visit the San Diego Restaurant Week website– we promise, there’s something for everyone!

One of our favorite things about San Diego Restaurant Week is the opportunity it provides to not only give back to local businesses, but also to the community. The San Diego’s Food Bank, Foods for Kids Backpack Program, provides weekend food packages to chronically hungry elementary school children from low-income households who are at risk of hunger over the weekend. Sysco has committed to provide $1 for every Food 4 Kids post during Restaurant Week. How can you post?

  1. Post a photo of your participating in San Diego Restaurant Week on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram
  2. Tag the SDRW restaurant where you are dining
  3. Hashtag #Food4Kids
  4. Make sure your post is set to public when you post so the hashtag use can be counted

With 14 schools on the San Diego Food Bank’s waiting list, by simply going to dine a local  restaurant this coming week you can help place a new school into the program so that no child goes hungry. Any time we can enjoy great food with an even better purpose, we are ALL in!
